There are two types of franchises:
1. Product Distribution Franchises
2. Business Format Franchises
The most important part of product distribution format is the product manufactured by the franchisor. Some pre-sale preparation is often required on the franchisee end before they are sold. Another major difference between the two types is that in the product distribution type, the franchisor licenses its trademark and logo to the franchisees but does not provide the entire system to run the business. In the business format ones, the whole system is provided by the franchisor to run the business. Most of the franchises these days are business format franchises. In the United States, 80 percent of the total 770,000 franchised businesses are business format franchises.
Product Distribution Franchises
In these, the franchisees sell the franchisor manufactured products. These can often be found in the drinks, automobiles and automobile accessories industries. These look somewhat like the supplier-dealer relationship. But in product distribution franchises, the franchisee gets more services from the franchisor as compared to what a dealer will get from its supplier.
Business Format Franchises
In these, the franchisee uses the franchisor’s brand name and trademark. And most importantly, the franchisee uses the entire business system of the franchisor. This format helps in achieving consistency which results in sustained success. In this structure, the franchisee is provided with a detailed plan which explains almost everything related to the operation of the franchise. The franchisee is given the training about the management of the building, marketing and advertising of the franchise, recruitment, dressing of the staff, greeting the customers and every other thing related to the franchise operation.
Both of these types have their pros and cons. Only hard work and good interest in your business can guarantee your success. The franchise technology has grown significantly lately. You can use franchise management software to make your experience a much successful one. These softwares simplify the nature of running the franchisor business model. The main features, good franchise software provides are data collection, corporate communications, administration, new store management, and marketing management, thus making your life easy.
Netsolace provides customized franchise management software and Franchise Software Technology solutions to optimize and automate the way your franchise system operates.
Founded and grown by brothers Dane and Travis Boersman from a single temporary stand to the large 150+ store franchise opportunity it is today. They have a proven track record of successful promotion and promoting all aspects of their business online. I like the young somewhat retro chic concept of the website. The company offers cool looking merchandise like clothing and mugs that partner well with their drive-thru coffee service stores. The Dutch Bros. roast their own coffee beans ensuring the quality and freshness of their product.
The foundation of the business, offer a great product and serve it fast, as this is a drive-thru. The employees are motivated to perform well because they stand to become new franchise owners. Most new franchises are awarded to current franchisees or employees. All this not withstanding the large financial commitment required to operate the franchise. If you are a fortunate son, so I say promote the coffee culture. It appears to me that all Americans’ are entitled to a great cup of coffee to go. Such a great concept, an outstanding cup of coffee served to order, and I never have to exit my car. Is this the reason the northwest is such a coffee Mecca? All that to say most Dutch Bros Coffee franchises are found in the northwest with a few in California and the southwestern United States.
The company gives back 1% of gross sales to the community. They get it. The Dutch creed is a positive and visionary statement of how they pursue life and the coffee business. Keep rockin the coffee world!
Such is common to all business ventures a single minded purpose to succeed and tireless effort. Even the best of intentions must be equipped with experience and knowledge of business promotion. Go forth and build your Dutch Bros. Coffee business and see to it that you follow battle tested methods of business marketing and promotion. Drive on to success.

Acti-Kare is a franchise opportunity for those individuals who would like to start a business which allows them to become self employed. There are a number of factors to be considered before entering into any business ownership, including cost, training, and risks. This is a review of the general positives and negatives of owning an Acti-Kare Franchise, and how it supports the home health care industry.
An Acti-Kare Franchise serves the needs of the home health care industry. For those individuals who would enjoy owning and operating their own business, while at the same time helping other people, Acti-Kare would seem to be an excellent choice. The cost of owning this franchise business varies, but the minimum amount of investment would likely be just under $20,000. In addition, there are a number of factors which may determine the start up costs, as well as the profitability of the company, such a location, civil lawsuit insurance in a particular state, employee wages, advertising and marketing, company vehicles, etc.
Today more than ever, seniors are more active, are choosing to remain independent for as long as possible, and they have a great desire to continue living in their own homes instead of entering a retirement community. And because the baby boom generation is now approaching retirement age, in-home health care for seniors is becoming one of the fastest growing and most important industries in the nation.
An Acti-Kare Franchise appears to be a business opportunity that is poised to take advantage of the serious need for senior home health care. It provides much a much needed home health care service to needy families, while at the same time allowing a franchise owner the possibility of operating a stable and profitable long term business, well into the future.
While Acti-Kare claims to offer expert marketing, in depth training, and superior franchise support, it is wise to always investigate and research any business opportunity, especially those which require a substantial financial investment. If you have serious interest in any franchise or business opportunity, spend the necessary time to do your research on the company and always ask for references. Any legitimate and successful company offering a franchise should be able to provide you with a complete business model and a number of success stories within their opportunity.
