In the business world, it may still seem hard for women to “get ahead”. Although women have come so far in society, especially in America, they still lag behind the men in the business world. However, that can be changed. If you can’t beat them, join them!!! Beat men at their own game, become the CEO of your own business. There are literally hundreds upon hundred of franchises for women. Finding the best franchise for women is a simple yet rewarding process.
Determine what your interests are. If you don’t like “Chick-Fil-A” food, chances are you won’t be happy running your won Chick-Fil-A restaurant. However, if you enjoying children and teaching, you probably will enjoy running your own day care.
There is a growing need for franchises for women owners. Women owned companies receive lots of tax breaks and also can receive various loans that male owned franchises can’t receive. Because there is most of the time a cost attached with owning/operating a franchise but the government offers various loans and funding opportunities for franchises for women. However, as we said before if that isn’t your thing of interest then look for something else. The goal to owning a franchise is finding something that interests you. If you aren’t interested chances are you won’t pour your heart and soul into it and it won’t be as successful as you would like and deserve.
All women love the mall, right? There are plenty of store franchises for women to own. Dillard’s, J C Pennys, Dollar Tree Stores, Payless Shoes, Kohl’s, Wal-Mart, and tons more. You get the idea. Just determine what your interests are and seek that type of franchise out. See if they are looking for operators in your local area, contact them and determine what the qualifications are and what the upfront fees are. Then do research to find local government agencies that will provide the monetary funds for a women owned business.
It’s a simply process but one that will take some work on your part. This is one you can’t sit on the couch, watch your stories and eat “bon bons” and dream it will happen! You must take the steps to start it, and get it off the ground! Franchises for women owners are a great way to own your own business without having to “start” from scratch!
